Somatic Therapy in Ontario (Body-Based Psychotherapy)

Sometimes talking about your experiences isn’t enough. You understand things logically — but your body still feels anxious, tense, or stuck. That’s where somatic therapy comes in.

What is somatic therapy?

Somatic therapy focuses on the connection between:

  • Mind

  • Body

  • Nervous system

It helps you notice and work with how stress, trauma, and emotions are held in the body.

  • You experience chronic tension or stress

  • You’ve tried talk therapy but want something deeper
