Life Transitions

Therapy for Life Transitions in Ontario (Virtual + Burlington In-Person)

Life transitions can be disorienting — even when they’re chosen or expected. You might be moving through a change in career, relationships, identity, or stage of life… and finding yourself feeling uncertain, untethered, or not quite like yourself. What once felt familiar may no longer fit — and what’s next isn’t fully clear yet.

Common experiences:

  • Feeling in-between or stuck in transition

  • Loss of direction, clarity, or sense of self

  • Increased anxiety or emotional overwhelm

  • Questioning identity, purpose, or next steps

  • Difficulty adjusting to change (even positive change)

Types of transitions I support:

  • Career changes or return to work

  • Relationship shifts (beginning, ending, evolving)

  • Motherhood / perinatal transitions

  • Identity shifts and personal growth

  • Major life changes or unexpected events

How therapy helps:

Transitions aren’t just external — they’re internal. In our work together, we focus on:

  • Creating space to process what’s changing

  • Grounding your nervous system during uncertainty

  • Exploring who you are in this new season

  • Supporting you in making decisions that feel aligned

My approach:

I integrate:

  • Somatic (body-based) therapy

  • Mindfulness and present-moment awareness

  • Parts work and self-exploration

  • Relational, emotion-focused work

This allows us to move at a pace that feels steady and supportive — especially during times that feel uncertain.

Outcome:

  • Greater clarity and self-trust

  • A stronger sense of grounding during change

  • Feeling more connected to yourself

  • Moving forward with more intention and alignment
