Anxiety Therapy

Anxiety Therapy in Ontario (Virtual + Burlington In-Person)

Anxiety can feel constant — like your mind won’t slow down, your body is always “on,” and no matter how much you try to think your way through it, the relief doesn’t last. You might look like you’re managing on the outside…But internally, it feels exhausting.

Common experiences:

  • Overthinking and replaying conversations

  • Difficulty relaxing or “turning off”

  • Feeling on edge or easily overwhelmed

  • Trouble sleeping or fully resting

  • High-functioning anxiety (you get things done, but it costs you)

Anxiety isn’t just in your thoughts — it lives in your nervous system. In our work together, we focus on:

  • Understanding your anxiety patterns

  • Regulating your nervous system (not just coping mentally)

  • Building capacity to feel calmer and more grounded

  • Shifting the underlying patterns — not just managing symptoms

My approach:

I use a blend of:

  • Somatic (body-based) therapy

  • Mindfulness

  • Parts work (understanding different aspects of you)

  • Emotion-focused therapy

This helps you move from: constant tension → greater ease and regulation
